Spotify for Android (The new version)

So today I buy Spotify premium, and download Spotify's brand new Spotify mobile app for Android so i'm gonna give it a shot at this reviewing lark.

So Spotify's new mobile app entered beta a few weeks ago bringing with it a completely re-thought user interface, better quality album art across the platform and access to friends' playlists. It is compatible with all ICS (Android 4.0) devices and most Gingerbread devices (including most tablets). Now, for the first time on a mobile device, you can check out the related artists view, check out friends' and all of their playlists and a new nice looking slide out 'now playing' section which includes, finally, high resolution album art. You can even scrobble to last.fm , now isn't that nice.

Although it hasn't hit the Play Store yet, it is speedy, responsive and all over a much better experience than it's predecessor. Spotify are yet to add more features soon before it is on the Store, but if you can't wait go check it out for yourself by clicking here!

(remember to go to settings>applications>unknown sources (and check the box) so you can install APK's from the browser)
